Life in Style, Sydney 2015

Over the weekend in Sydney  the ‘life in style‘ boutique trade event was held. It is a one of it’s kind show held in Australia, hosted in February in Sydney and again in Melbourne in August. Offering local and overseas suppliers an opportuntiy to promote their collections for the coming seasons. It’s the first glimpse we get into what the upcoming trends will be, it’s all very hip and exciting!

Unfortunately for me this year it fell at the same time as Chinese New Year, so I wasn’t able to attend. However as you know, I do have my ear to the ground and some great ‘informants’, so I can fill you in on what was causing a buzz, and some of the fabulous products and brands you will expect to hear more about this year. Here are my highlights (which were not easy to narrow down!)

For anyone following my instagram account you may have noticed my virtual hook up with Rainy Sunday, I have always followed them and loved what they do, but their latest addition of this set of three arrows is a whole new love!

The stand at Talulah, showcasing the  ‘Talulah home’ range had everyone talking. They have hit the ground running with this range, it’s all so beautiful, I love the botanical feel and the colors are stunning.

Losari is a new find for me from the show, I have always had a soft spot for white and shells so their range really resonated with me, I have this same necklace, so was thrilled to see I am already on trend! Now I just need to add to the collection with one of the Ashanti Plume’s..

I was taken by the prints by Bethany Linz, it was another new supplier for me, I look forward to seeing these in stores soon, the frames are to die for!

The monochrome ceramic range from Have You Met Miss Jones was being posted by everyone in the know on Instagram , especially the Nordic Kitchen range.

If only shipping was easier…then I would have ordered a set of these fabulous Rebecca Hex side tables from Urban Couture, how many uses do they have and how perfectly designed are they!?!

The Mrs Darcy stand had everyone gushing, the floral archway was gorgeous and a perfect set to showcase their bedding range. Again loving the botanical feel and the colors are beautiful…
